Town Square Television is the local community cable TV station serving the seven cities of Northern Dakota County, including Inver Grove Heights, Lilydale, Mendota, Mendota Heights, South St. Paul, Sunfish Lake and West St. Paul. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation partnering with many volunteers and organizations to provide seven channels of truly local television programming, including high school sports, music, arts, local government, multi-faith, education, news and politics, chambers of commerce, and complete coverage of community activities and events in our seven cities.
We operate a state-of-the-art multi-media studio and production truck. We also provide hands-on training and facilitation for those who wish to make their own videos. Programs are televised on Comcast Cable on Channels 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 21, and web streamed live and on-demand at www.townsquare.tv.

Town Square Televison is proud to provide coverage of this years 2012 high school graduations ceremonies. Saint Thomas Academy Graduation, St. Croix Lutheran Graduation, Convent of the Visitation Graduation, Henry Sibley High School Graduation, South St. Paul High School Graduation, and Simley High School Graduation can be seen on Town Square Television. DVDs of these graduations can be ordered online now on our graduations page!

Town Square Television needs your programming! Politics, hobbies, local sports, concerts, plays, movies, ceremonies, religious events, celebrations - It all has a place on Town Square Television. Just get a membership, take the necessary classes, check-out a camera and edit suite, and submit your program. Its easy, all the necessary steps are listed on the Make a Show page. *All program content is the responsibility of the User.
Your support means that important local events like Elections, parades, graduations, and local celebrations can be seen by everyone! Your support helps our professional staff to teach affordable monthly classes on different methods of shooting and editing video, and on how to make your own TV show. From our Looking Back at Local History with Bill Wolston program to our South St. Paul Stockyards Documentary, our videos are preserving a piece of our local history. Our staff has also worked with many area high school video classes, giving them the opportunity to use cutting-edge equipment they might not otherwise have access to....

Screenwriting 101 is another new course being offered by Town Square Television. Learn how to write the screenplay you've always wanted to write. This 12-week course provides a thorough introduction to screenwriting in a workshop format. Students will write two short-form screenplays; in-class reading and discussion will help the student learn the craft and refine his or her visiton. Each class will last two hours and will meet on Saturdays at 11:00 AM. Course begins January 14. Click here for more information and registration.
Filmmaking 101 is an exciting new course offered by Town Square Television. Learn the techniques of filmmaking with award-winning writers and directors. This 12-week course provides a thorough introduction to digital filmmaking with hands-on training presented by experienced professionals -- and the practical experience of creating two film projects from start to finish. Each class will last 90 minutes, and will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM. Course begins January 31. Click here for more information and registration.
